Funeral services for Kathryn Jeanette Chambless, 88, of Pelham will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 2:00PM at Union Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Doug Hall and Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate and interment will be in Union Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Anderson, Chris Rackley, Adam Rackley, Drew Hall, Phillip Morris, Bo Harrell, Charles Whigham and Jacob Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Payne Morris, Jeremy Anderson, Jared Anderson, Jesse Harrell, Lawson Rackley, Jackson Hall and Landyn Davis. Born February 23, 1936 in Sale City she was the daughter of the late Rev. Howard Jackson and Nettie Inez Bass Kelley. She was married to David Lee Chambless for 64 years who preceded her in death on January 15, 2015. She is survived by daughters, Jean Ann Poitevint (Randall), Valinda Rackley (Bill), Grandchildren, Mary Beth Morris (Phillip), Jamie Anderson (Wendy), Shelly Harrell (Bo), Sabrina Whigham (Charles), Chris Rackley (Misty) and Adam Rackley (Macie), 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, a sister, Debbie Hall (Doug) and brother Lynwood Kelley of Macon and Lifetime forever friend Earnestdean (Shorty) Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, a daughter, Patricia (Trish) Anderson and a brother, Robbie Kelley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday an hour prior to the service at Union Grove Baptist Church.
