Karen Moye

Karen Moye, 53, of Cairo passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Miller County Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  Rev. Keith Pearson will officiate and interment will follow at Forestlawn Cemetery in Cairo, GA.  Pallbearers will be Victor Gonzalez, Toby Sellers, Keith Kirkland, Jason Moye, Tyler Beaty and Alberto Gonzalez.  Born October 19, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Robert Kirkland and Charlotte Kirkland.  She was a member of the Tama Community Church.  Ms. Moye is survived by her mother, Charlotte Kirkland; daughters Ashley Sorrow, Amber Gonzalez (Victor), Leann Sellers (Toby) and Mattie Moye; grandchildren Lauren Sorrow, Logan Sorrow, Alyssa Wiggins, and Kinsley Sellers, and a brother Keith Kirkland.  She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents C. L. and Christine Phillips and  The family will greet friends on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.
