Julie Viola Whiting

Graveside services for Julie Viola Sizemore Whiting, 65, of Pelham will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 10:00AM at Thundering Springs Cemetery in Lee County, Rev. Nathan Fowler will officiate. Born April 10, 1958 in Sylvester she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Grady, Sr. and Ella Catherine Burch Sizemore. Julie passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Pruitt Health-Palmyra Nursing Home in Albany. She resided in Mitchell County for a number of years and was employed by Autry Petroleum as store manager and Flash Foods in Waycross in several of the Pelham and local area stores for many years until her illness began in 2015. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Johnnie Grady Sizemore, Jr., sisters, Audrey Deloris Sizemore, Mildred Sizemore and Marion Beatrice Sizemore Abney. She is survived by her ex-husband, Gerald Whiting of Pelham; a daughter, Katrina Suzanne Whiting Dillow (Joshua) of Whigham; Several grandchildren who she loved with all of her heart, James Ryan Butler, Gavin Alexander Dillow, Christopher Elliott Butler, Tyler Aiden Dillow, Kolby Drake Dillow, Alyssa Nicole Dilllow and Joshua Sawyer Dillow, a niece, Ami Catherine Sizemore of Pelham and uncles, Robert Andrew Sizemore, Raeford, NC; and Jimmy Lee Burch of Harlem, GA and numerous Cousins.
