Judson Thomas Hurst

Funeral services for Judson Thomas Hurst, 71, of Meigs, were held Monday, August 22, 2016 at Meigs Sunset Cemetery, Meigs. Born September 2, 1944, in Meigs,
he was the son of the late Carl B. Hurst and Leah Shirah Hurst.  Mr. Hurst passed away at his home on Monday, August 22, 2016. Mr. Hurst was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness in Pelham.  He was a self-employed logger in the timber business. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Thompson Hurst; children, Belinda Tate (Steve Brown), Dobie Hurst, Brandy Webb
(Marion) and Anthony Hurst (Kristyna); grandchildren, Jesse Tate, Mario Webb, Jr., Corey Hurst, Kaitlin Hurst, Monica Webb, Austin Webb, and Alyssa Chambers; great-grandchildren, Braxton Hurst; a brother, Labron Hurst; sisters, Alene Barfield, Eloise Draughton, Nezzie Law and Jeanette McQuire. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl B. Hurst and Leah Shirah Hurst; brothers and sisters Carnell Hurst, J. R. Hurst, Ronald Hurst, Zach Hurst, Montine Warren, Edwin Hurst, Yatch Hurst and Jack C. Hurst. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia.
