Joyce Tilley

Funeral services for Joyce Jennell Tilley, 77, of Ochlocknee will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 3:00PM at Springhill Christian Church where she was a member. The Rev. Lindsey Gay and Rev. Gordon Lunsford will officiate and interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Born November 10, 1939 in Ochlocknee she was the daughter of the late George Robert Cone and Mamie Smith Cone. She was married for 59 years in which her husband Theron Tilley who survives was in the Airforce for their first 20 years. Mrs. Tilley was a devoted Christian woman, loving wife and mother and worked many years as the secretary for St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Thomasville. Mrs. Tilley passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Grady General Hospital in Cairo. She is survived by her husband, Theron Tilley of Ochlocknee and daughter Sharon Denise Tilley of Ochlocknee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 6:00-8:00PM.
