Joseph Charles Sealy, Sr.

Mr. Joseph Charles Sealy, Sr., 62, of Augusta entered into rest Sunday, October 8, 2023. Joseph was a native of Mitchell County but has lived in Augusta for 37 years. Retired from W.A Bragg as a Sales Associate. Joey loved NSCAR, fishing, cars, his truck, and his sweetheart Cindy. Every Saturday he could be heard cheering for his Georgia Bulldogs at home with his dog Buddy by his side. He was a very kind, gentle soul, always looking out for others. Family members include his life partner: Cindy Nalley; sons: Charles Sealy, Jr. and Michael Sealy, daughter in law: Coraline Sealy; brother: Burney Sealy; sister: Susan Worsham; ex-wife: Donna Sealy; and his godsons: Fred Funderburg, Justin Funderburg, Brian Hill and Michael Caamal and nieces and nephews, Britini Gay Bullard (Paul), Brandon Gay and Sean Sealy. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Vivian Sealy. Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA at www.aspca.org/donate Graveside services will be held Friday, October 13th, 2023 at 4:00PM at Meigs Sunset Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 3:00-4:00PM at the funeral home.
