Johnnie Mae Futch Gibson

Funeral services for Johnnie Mae Futch Gibson, 83, of Meigs will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Stacy West will officiate and interment will be in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Huey Tyson, Homer Tyson, Marshall Tyson, Brian Hurst, Dylan Hurst and Logan Hurst. Born August 30, 1940 in Mitchell County she was the daughter of the late Wallace F. and Maggie Mae Curles Futch. Mrs. Gibson passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She retired after working for a number of years at Chicken Delite in Pelham after which she did private sitting with elderly. She is survived by her son, Anthony (Bimbo) Warren of Ochlocknee and daughter, Carolyn Stone of Ochlocknee and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Karen Turner and Wanda Dabney and a son Carol (Skeeter) Edell Warren.
