John Martin Pollock

Graveside funeral services for John Martin Pollock, 79, of Meigs will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 3:30PM at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Hall will officiate. Born November 6, 1938 in Pelham he was the son of the late Noah Judson and Erma Lee Pollock. Mr. Pollock passed away May 5, 2018 at his residence. He was a self employed master plumber and of the Baptist faith. He was married to Frances Louise Griffin Pollock who preceded him in death. Survivors include his sons, Shane Pollock (Jan); Keith Pollock; daughters, Kelly L. Brinson; Candace M. Woodell; Mallissa Gonzolas (Joe); 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James Pollock (Virginia); Lynda Pollock; Sandra McCorkle; Mollie Aldridge; Glen Pollock; a brother-in-law, Sam Norman; two sister-in-laws, Liz Pollock and Dorothy Pollock. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a special friend Miriam Warren, grandson, Victor Scott Brinson, brothers, Herbert Pollock, Roland Pollock, Earl Pollock, sisters, Christine Smith and Freida Norman; four brother-in-laws; Willie D. Adams, Jimmy McCorkle, Lawrence Smith and Fred Aldridge and a sister-in-law; Irene Pollock.
