Joseph "Joe" Bowers Glenn

Graveside services for Joseph Bowers Glenn (Joe), 86, of Hinsonton, will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Rev. Andy Frazier and Rev. Les Pollock will officiate. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Glenn, Anderson Glenn, Myles Jackson and Patrick Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Hinsonton Baptist Church Deacons, Larry Taylor, Buddy McKenzie, Jim Autry, Terry Harrell and all the nephews he loved so much. Joe passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born January 17, 1935, in Decatur, GA., he was the son of John Lawrence Glenn, Sr., and Lura Kirbo Glenn. Joe was a member and deacon of Hinsonton Baptist Church, served in the United States Army and spent a lifetime farming. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy McGahee of Hinsonton, Michelle Jackson (Dwayne) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Leana Combs of Utah, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his sister Cindy Mobley (James) of Cotton. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Pauline Holland Glenn, sons Joe B. Glenn and Russell McGahee, brothers Sonny Glenn, John L. Glenn Jr., sisters Joyce G.
