James Elsworth (Buddy) Finley

James Elsworth (Buddy) Finley, 79, of Baxley formally of Ohio passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at his residence. Born June 23, 1942 in Mingo County, West Virginia he was the son of the late Zeph and Margirett Thompson Finley. He was married for 13 years to Roseanna Butler Finely of Baxley who survives. He was a retired Machine Mechanic with General Motors, Siemens and served his country in the United States Navy. He was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He is survied by his wife Roseanna Finley of Baxley; children, Jim Finley (Angie), Mary Ann Hines, Billy Finley (Gail), Susan Wells (Gene) all of Ohio; Paul Gilbert, Cristy Edwards (Daniel), and Matthew Butler (JessI) all of Baxley and Reanna Willis (Robby) of Pelham and Grandfather and Papa of 22 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Wilma Jean Finley and a son-in-law, Steve Hines. Service information will be announced later. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
