Due to the pending weather for tomorrow the services for Jackie Redmond have been moved to the Chapel of Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  The time remains the same at 2:00 PM.

Funeral services for Jacquealine "Jackie" Redmond Melton, 70, of Pelham will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Chapel with interment at Mizpah Baptist Church Cemetery, Rev. Nathan Fowler will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Carey Smith, James Richard "Dickie" Redmond, Jr., Mitchell Moates, Will Melton, J J Palmer and Joey Williamson. Mrs. Melton passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at her residence. Born October 27, 1951 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late James Richard Redmond, Sr. and Joyce Janette Redmond who survives.  She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from American Finance. She is survived by her husband, Johnny William Melton of Pelham; son Thomas Carey Smith (Susan) of Pelham; grandson Thomas James Smith currently serving as a Marine and stationed in California;  mother, Janette Redmond of Thomasville; brother James Richard "Dickie" Redmond, Jr. of Thomasville; stepchildren Tammy Moates (Mitchell), Sandra Weeks (James) and Dean Melton all of Pelham; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, James Richard Redmond, Sr., and a brother, Andy Redmond. Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home in charge of services.
