Isaac Spencer Godwin , III

Funeral services for Isaac Spencer Godwin, III, 81, of Pelham, will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home with interment in Mizpah Cemetery.  Rev. Nathan Fowler will officiate. Mr. Godwin passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 13, 2016. Born August 1, 1935, in Maitland, Florida, he was the son of Spencer and Cleo Umphries Godwin.  Mr. Godwin served in the Naval Reserve and was retired from Pan Am and Cape Canaveral. He is survived by his son Bryan and daughter-in-law Samantha Godwin of Pelham; grandson Samuel Isaac Godwin of Pelham, an aunt Elizabeth Davidson of Spartinberg, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Godwin was preceded in death by his parents Spencer and Cleo Umphries Godwin; wives Elva Elizabeth Beck Godwin and Ruby K. Goins Godwin and a brother, Robert Wayne Godwin. Pallbearers will be Trey Godwin, Chad Godwin, Ken Godwin, James Pilgrim, Jack Sizemore and Randall Stanaland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016.
