Ina Palmer

Mrs. Ina Radford Palmer, 95, formerly of Cotton, GA, passed away July 22, 2017 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, GA where she currently lived at Cypress Pond Assisted Living.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home with interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Tammy Fincannon and Rev. Dan Harper will officiate. Ina was born July 13, 1922 in Covington County, Alabama to the late Della Sanders Radford and John S. Radford.  She was a bookkeeper for Pelham Builder Supply and Payne Insurance Agency for many years.  She was a member of Burns United Methodist Church in Cotton, GA.  Mrs. Ina is survived by two sons, Charles and Latrelle Palmer of Tifton and Ronnie and Mary Beth Palmer of Camilla; three grandchildren, David (Betsy) Palmer, Ivey Palmer and Matthew (Amanda) Palmer; three great grandchildren Logan
Palmer, Sumner Palmer and Anna Ruth Palmer; and one sister, Wynona Taylor of Pelham. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death her by parents; her husband, A. V. Palmer Jr; two brothers, Jesse Radford (Era) of Pelham; J. D. Radford (Frances) of Shalimar, FL.; five sisters Katherine Butler (M.C.), Myrtle Jeffcoat (Rusty), Gladys Odum (Ollie), Mildred Bulger (Coy), and Frances Kelly (Ralph). Pallbearers will be David Palmer, Matthew Palmer, Logan Palmer, Harry Radford, Michael Radford, Matthew Free, Jimmy Kelley and Russ Joiner. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Roberts, Johnny Kelley, Houston Bozeman, Thomas Bulger, Buddy Brinkley, David Sumner, Dwight Sumner, Bud West, Larry Langley, Ray Turner, Greg Shiver and Ernest Flournoy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Burns Methodist Church, Cotton, GA.
