Hiram Harvey Hendrix, Sr

Funeral services for Hiram Harvey Hendrix, Sr., 95, of Pelham will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 2:00PM at Pelham First Baptist Church. Rev. LeRoy Williams, Rev. Frank Dinie and Andrew Chaffer will officiate with services concluding at the church. Born October 29, 1928 in Statesboro he was the son of the late Edward Lane and Bertha Rebecca Lee Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 at his residence. He was a retired Grocer and Rancher and member of Pelham First Baptist Church. He was married to Mary Louise Adams Hendrix for 67 years until her death on May 30, 2017.He is survived by his children, Rebecca Hendrix, Linda Bowdre and Harvey Hendrix, Jr. all of Pelham and Jennifer Harvey of Jasper, GA; a brother, Harville Hendrix (Helen) of Dallas, TX; and 14 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
