Helen Brinson Merritt

Funeral services for Helen Brinson Merritt, 78, of Cairo will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 3:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Moore will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mike Anderson, Sean Anderson, Heath Brinson, Joseph Brinson,  Adam Brinson and Jeremiah Brinson. Born July 6, 1946 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Grandy and Louise Anderson Brinson. Mrs. Merritt passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Archbold Hospice in Thomasville. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Merritt: daughter, Kim Taylor (Kendall); son, Dane Merritt: granddaughter, Kasey Taylor; sister, Linda Anderson and Roger Brinson all of Cairo. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Grady Junior Brinson and Wayne Brinson.
