Hayden Moye

Funeral services for Hayden Hugh Moye, Sr., 83, of Pelham will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the funeral home at 10:00AM. Rev. Herman Hampton and Rev. Doug Hall will officiate and interment will be at Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Jones, Bobby Moye, Wathal Bush, Zack Mercer, Louie Lamb, Jr. and Reggie Feagin. Born May 31, 1940 in Baker County he was the son of the late Thomas Eldred Moye, Sr and Montreal Lola Tucker Moye. Mr. Moye passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at his residence. He was a member of the former East Pelham Baptist Church and owned and operated Moye's Drug Store in Pelham. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Florine Palmer Moye. Other survivors include sons Hugh Moye (Lacey) of Lake Wales, Fl; Carbert Moye (Heather) of Camilla and daughter, Janet Pollock (Kirk) of Pelham; 7 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ted Moye, a brother-in-law, C.W. Bush and sister-in-law, Sara Moye. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6:00-8:00Pm at the funeral home.
