Funeral services for Harry Lee Palmer, 83, of Leesburg will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Andrew Kornegay will officiate and interment will be in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. Born August 3, 1940 in Meigs he was the son of the late David Nathaniel and Ethel Lee Ott Palmer. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and retired supervisor of printing for the Federal State Inspection Service and served his country in the United State Air Force. He was married for 62 years to Emma Elizabeth Dees of Leesburg who survives. Other survivors include his son, Wesley Nathaniel Palmer (Kacey); daughter, Annza Palmer Reed (Bobby Gerald); granddaughter, Brooke Elizabeth Forrister; grandson, Grayson Tucker Reed all of Leesburg; granddaughter, Rachel Reed Yoder (Nathan Yoder, Jr.) of Montezuma; great grandsons, Liam Elijah Hall of Tallahassee and Atlas Tyrion Hall of Dawson and great granddaughter, Thea Elise Hall of Leesburg and numerous much loved nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Ottis Palmer, Deloy Palmer, Hollis Palmer, Dewey Palmer, and Buford Palmer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
