Glenda Brinson West

Funeral services for Glenda Lefaye Brinson West, 85, of Donalsonville will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 3:00PM at the Cairo Church of God. Rev. Adron Ingle will officiate and a private family interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Born October 26, 1938 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Archie and Lucy Virginia Palmer Brinson. Mrs. West at passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her daughters home in Donalsonville. She was married to the late Wayne West (Bud) for 49 years until his death. She was a member of the Cairo Church of God, she loved her lord. was a loving grandmother and grandmother to many. She loved fishing, her Church, and attended to many as a nurse, police patrol and was a hero to many. Her favorite saying was this to shall pass and nothing can stay the same. She is survived by her son, Terry West (Roxanne), daughter, Teresa Warren ( Ricky), both of Donalsonville; and daughter, Dink Phillips (Rob), grandchildren, Kayla Warren Pearson (Dale), Nickey Warren, John West, Lynn West, Sheree Beverly (Drew), nine great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, and two brothers, Wyndell Brinson (Donnis) and Larry Brinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Clifford Palmer, husband, son, Gary West, granddaughter, Beverly Madden, Grandson, Jerry West, great grandson, Corey McCarthy, sister, Silvia Pollock, brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, and Bobby Brinson.
