Geraldine Tinsley Taylor

Funeral services for Geraldine Tinsley Taylor, 76, of Albany will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Eric Tinsley and Bro. Fred McCoy will officiate and interment will be in New Bethel Church Cemetery. Born December 7, 1938 in Mitchell County she was the daughter of the late John Vonnie and Verdie Bell Bentley Tinsley. She was married for 57 years to Oma Taylor who survives. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and member of Mercedes Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Ashburn Health and Rehab. Pallbearers will be Terry Tinsley, Robbie Griner, Michael Griner, Waylon Griner, Chester Stanaland, and Shelby Stanaland. Honorary pallbearers will be Stacey Taylor, Marty Taylor, Ray Tinsley and Carroll Tinsley. Survivors include her Husband, Oma Taylor of Albany; three sons, Robert Keith Taylor(Cheryl) of Sylvester; Vernon Alan Taylor of Albany and Don Robin Taylor(Sharon) of Albany; Grandchildren, Dianne Frisbee, Robin Taylor, Laura Taylor and Will Taylor. Other survivors include her sisters, Betty Stanaland(Bobby) of Moultrie; Jean Griner of Thomasville and Catherine Harrison of Cotton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Winifred Tinsley, Wilodean Tinsley Key, Bobby Tinsley, Buck Tinsley and Ovenia Tinsley.
