Funeral services for Gene Davis, 76, of Pelham will be Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Pastor Gerald Brown, Chief Wade Glover Thomasville Police Department and Rod Williams Assistant Chief Pelham Police Department will officiate and interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roscoe Jones, Rod Williams, Angel Florence (Flo), Reggie Feagin, EB Beasley, and David Sampson. Born August 24, 1947 in Camilla he was the son of the late James Irwin and Minnie Drew Locke Davis. He was married for 57 years to Doris Corrine Davis who preceded him in death. Mr. Gene passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at his residence. He worked with the Pelham Police Department and also in maintenance and construction with Grady EMC. He is survived by his daughters, Doris Weeks, Patti Mooreman and one son Wade Glover; grandchildren, Brittnee Davis and Austin Mooreman and great grandchildren, Rosalina Laford, Damien Laford and Liam Weeks; siblings, Phillip Morey, Lafaie Bryant, Thelma Pettyjohn and Viria Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, Ralph Davis, Sabrina Morey Holt, Emmett Davis, Russell Davis, J.I. Davis and Frank Davis. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
