Frances Cox Maxwell

Funeral services for Frances Maxwell, 89, of Whigham will be Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Ezell will officiate with interment to follow at Maxwell Cemetery, Cairo. Pallbearers will be Donnie Maxwell, Daryl Maxwell, Jeff Miller, Jamie Trotman, Greg Phillips, and Walker Willis. Born June 8, 1932 in Cairo, GA she was the daughter of the late Ira Cox and Willie Mae McKown. Ms. Maxwell passed away December 15,2021 at Bainbridge Health and Rehab. She was married to Donald Neal Maxwell, who preceded her in death. She was a childcare worker for over twenty years. She is survived by her sons, Neal Maxwell (Linda) of Whigham, Terry Maxwell, daughters Marilyn Culver (Ken) of Whigham, Jane Cumbie (Greg) of Cairo, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Jerry Maxwell, daughter Barbara Bearden, and son-in-law Larry Bearden.
