Funeral services for Floyd Carroll Scott (Doc), 90, of Pelham will be held at 2:00PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at Pelham First Baptist Church where he was a member. Rev. Matt Peek will officiate and interment will be in Pelham City Cemetery. Mr. Scott passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at his residence. Born May 8, 1925 in Pelham he was the son of the late James Floyd Scott and Modest Cornelia Carroll. He was married to Lula Daughtry Scott who survives. He was owner of Scott and Marshall Grocery and a butcher. He is survived by his wife Lula Scott, two sons, Glen Scott(Robin), and Robert Scott(Lynn) and grandchildren, Taylor Scott, Ashley Lawrence(Jamie) and Jessie and Jodie Scott and a sister, Mary Glausier. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Floyd and Modest Carroll Scott, and three brothers, Ralph Scott, Joe Scott and Ben Scott.
