Floyd C. Bentley

Floyd Collis Bentley, 77, of Spanish Fort, AL passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Rev. Franklin Russ will officiate. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 7:00-9:00PM.  Pallbearers will be Ben Bentley, Jake Bentley, Kenneth Bentley, Rylan Bentley, Matt Slater, Jason Royal, Mike Bentley and Robert Bentley.  Born April 24, 1944 in Pelham, GA, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Lois Palmer Bentley.  Mr. Bentley was retired and of the Baptist faith.  He was married to Shelby Bentley, who survives, for fifty eight years.  He is also survived by three sons, Derrick Bentley, Jeff Bentley (Susan), and Travis Bentley (Bobbie); grandchildren Jade Bentley Slater (Matt), Mary Catherine Bentley, Ben Bentley, Jake Bentley, Kenneth Bentley and Rylan Bentley; one great grandchild Blakely Slater; a brother R. B. Bentley; sisters Janice Russ (Franklin) and Kay Royal (Roger).  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Wallace Bentley, Ben Bentley, Irvin Bentley, and Leroy Bentley; and one sister Avaline Eubanks.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude at www.stjude.org
