Everett C. Bailey, Jr.

Services for  Everett C. Bailey, Jr., 77, of Camilla will be held Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 2:00PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he was a member and deacon. Rev. Tom Newman will officiate. Born August 24, 1940  in Gwinnett County, Ga he was the son of the late Everett C. Bailey Sr. and Mary Lavon Burton. He was retired from the United States Navy and from Miller Brewery. He was also a member of the Hassan Temple in Albany, a 50 year Mason, and 25 year Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Bailey passed away sunday, July 29, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was married to Carolyn Faye Bailey who survives. Other survivors include his children Rachel Bailey Buelow of Waukeshka, Wisconsin; Everett III (Tracye) of Bogart GA; Conni Knowles (Charles) of Ellijay, GA; Stepchildren: Raymond Maier of Sylvester; Kathy Shiver (Dewayne) of Cordele; Jennifer Pool (Randy) of Pelham; Lora Edison (Bill) of Pelham; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two  daughters, Dennise and Sandra and a granddaughter Karon.
