Eugene Coy Pollock

Funeral services for Eugene (Gene) Coy Pollock, 88, of Pelham will be Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00AM at Union Grove Baptist Church where he was a member. Rev. Doug Hall and Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Deacons of Union Grove Baptist Church and Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Born Mach 6, 1932 in Grady County he was the son of the late Tom and Etoy Glover Pollock. Mr. Pollock passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Mr. Pollock was a retired Electrical Engineer and served his county in the United States Army. He was married to Evie Irene Holton Pollock of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include his children, Corlis Adams (Don) of Ocala, Fl; Carla Meadows (Ray) of Hartsfield; Karl Pollock of Pelham and Carey Pollock of Pelham; Grandchildren, Jana Cedeno, Derek Meadows, Casey Pollock, Hannah Pollock and Cody Pollock; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Special aunt and uncle who raised him, Jim and Florence Pollock and a son Craig Pollock.
