Eugene Futch (Snow)

Funeral services for Eugene Lamar Futch (Snow), 85, of Meigs will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 3:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate and interment will be in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ramiro Rodriguez, Rudy Juarez, III, Josh Barron, Huey Tyson, Homer Tyson and Reggie Jones. Born September 6, 1936 in Hinsonton he was the son of the late Wallace Huey, Sr. and Maggie Curles Futch. Mr. Futch passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his residence. He was retired from Oil-Dri. He is survived by his children, Peggy Juarez (Rudy) of Okeechobee, Fl; Michael Futch of Meigs; Maggie Barron of Thomasville and James Futch of Meigs; grandchildren, Mandy, Rosalinda, Rudy, III, Brandy, John, Carmen, Maggie and Sarah; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Gibson of Meigs and Lynda Holloway of Leesburg; numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, Sarah Nell Futch and Juanita Futch; a grandson, Michael Bradley Futch; brothers, Wallace Jr., Alf, Calvin, Thomas Futch and sisters, Lois Lamb.
