Funeral Service for Dorothy Jean Hutto, 81, of Pelham, will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Pelham, GA
Rev. Matt Peek will officiate.
Born April 26, 1934 in Meigs, GA, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Odell Warren and Frances Lucille Warren.
Mrs. Hutto was retired from the family business, Pelham Paint and Body Shop and Dairyland Drive In, owned and operated by her and her husband, Robert Hutto. She is a member of Pelham First Baptist Church, Pelham Jamboree, and the Chamber of Commerce. When her granddaughter began school, she enjoyed working with the Let's Read group for the elementary children at Westwood School.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hutto, grandchildren Samantha Hutto, Frederick Maxwell, Arthur Maxwell, Amanda Maxwell, Crystal Daniels (Joshua), James Dustin Lee, and Shaina Edenfield (Tyler), great-grandchildren Eva Hutto, James Goodwin, Gemma Daniels, Jackson Daniels, Piper Edenfield, and Mya Stanton; two sisters Sadie Gay Kimbrell of Sylvester and Martha Mae Causey of Moultrie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Odell Warren and Frances Lucille Warren, husband Robert Hutto, a daughter, Frances Maxwell, sister Sara Nell Futch and a brother Odell Carroll Warren.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Hutto, Doyle Singleton, Arthur Maxwell, Bill Goodwin, Tyler Edenfield, and Isaac Layton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, March 24th.
