Memorial services for Dorothy Jean Hooks Humphries, 78, of Pelham will be Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 3:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Rod Brinkley will officiate. Born July 25, 1942 in Sale City she was the daughter of the late James T. Ruby Pearl Jarrell Hooks. Mrs.Humphries passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Grady General Hospital. She was a lab tech inspector with the USDA. She was married to Judson Humphries who preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Cooper of Pelham; grandson, Justin; two sisters, Shirley Hooks Trout and Ruthie Pearl Batchelor and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, James Hooks, J.E. Hooks and Melvin Hooks and one sister, Frances Hooks Craven. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 2:00PM-3:00PM. Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
