Doris Williams Lamb, 82, of Pelham, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born on August 26, 1931 in the Flint Community of Mitchell County, Georgia to the late Willie and Eunice Shirah Williams, she was a homemaker and a member of Meigs Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband C. B. Lamb of Pelham, Georgia (formerly of Meigs, Georgia), children David Lamb of Atlanta, Georgia, Donnie Lamb of Meigs, Georgia, grandchildren Stephanie Logue and husband Victor of Thomasville, Georgia, William Lamb of Winder, Georgia, David Lamb, Jr., of New River, North Carolina, Dana Lamb of Kennesaw, Georgia, great grandchildren Lynn Clark of Ochlocknee, Georgia, Haley Logue of Thomasville, Georgia, Holly Logue of Meigs, Georgia, Micayla Logue of Pelham, Georgia, Marcus Lamb of Toccoa, Georgia, Chloe Lamb of Ashville, North Carolina, Ava Lamb and Chae Lamb, both of Winder, Georgia, great granddaughter Eve Cliett of Thomasville, Georgia, brother Beauford Williams and wife, Betty, of Meigs, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Albert Williams. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 1 until 3 p.m. at Jamerson Funeral Home in Pelham, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Lynn Roberts, assisted by Rev. Stacy West, will officiate the services. Interment will be held in Meigs Sunset Cemetery.
