Doris (Dot) Stanaland

Graveside funeral services for Doris L. Stanaland, 91, of Meigs will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 10:00AM at Providence Primitive Baptist Church on Widow White Road. Rev. David Pickering will officiate. Born March 18, 1930 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Claudia Palmer Lawrence. Mrs. Stanaland passed away Thursday at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Meigs Baptist Church and former food service worker at Georgia Southwestern State Hospital. She was married to Hugh Gene Stanaland who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Hugh Gene Stanaland (Buddy); daughter, Gina Stanaland, son, Keith Stanaland (Jessi); grandchildren, Zach Stanaland, David Martin ( Melinda); Deohn Martin; Dallas Aldridge; and Autumn Martin, Great great grandchildren, Justin Clayton, Tanner Clayton, Austin Martin, Amber Martin and Reagan Martin and Niece, Donna Deirso (John). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Helen Luke and Emily Barlow and a brother, Bud Lawrence.
