Services for Donald Lee Skipper, Jr., 54, of Blakely will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:30PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Born January 4, 1969 in Grady County, he was the son of Gloria Ponder (Frank) of Cairo and Donald Skipper (Martha) of Cairo who survives. Mr. Skipper passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Cobb County. He was retired after 28 years with the Early County Sheriffs Department and was a member of the Colomokee Baptist Church in Blakely. Survivors other than his parents include his two sisters, Rachel Godwin (Ronnie) of Cairo and Amy Melton and (Fiance' Brad Walden) of Columbus; Mother of his children, Renee Skipper of Blakely; son, Joshua Skipper (Kelly) of Dothan; and daughter, Emily Busby (Aaron) of Blakely; two grandchildren, Genesis Mae Busby of Blakely and Connor Lee Skipper of Dothan; stepsister, Teresa Wade (Bill) of Cherokee, AL and stepbrother, Sam Tenorio (Brittany) of Cairo; nieces and nephews, Luke Lauder, Callie Lauder, Cort Lauder, Ellie Godwin, Brooklyn Melton and Emma Melton, and Eleanor Tenorio, Peyton Tenorio, Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
