Delphine Laverne Tatum Walker, 78, of Pelham, GA passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. Born on February 15, 1935 in Coolidge, GA to the late Robert J. and Jessie M. Lecthworth Tatum, she was a homemaker and was Freewill Baptist by faith. She is survived by her children Rosa W. Robinson, Ronald Walker, Johnny R. Walker, Ann W. Dickerson, Joyce W. Horn and Clyde H. Walker, all of Pelham, GA, Carl W. Walker of Moultrie, GA, Donald Walker of Hugo, OK, twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, brothers Carroll Tatum of Alabama, Eugene Tatum and Cecil Tatum, both of Florida, sisters Grace Tatum and Marianne Tatum, both of Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde H. Walker, Sr, parents Robert J. and Jessie M. Lecthworth Tatum, brother J. T. Tatum, and sisters Lily Mae Tatum, Janice Tatum and Maudeen Walker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. graveside at Hartsfield Cemetery with Rev. Mike Newsome officiating.
