Dave Gamble

Funeral services for Dave Gamble (Pete), 64, of Pelham will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Newsome will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Gamble, Dave Lee Gamble, Andrew Bristol, Anthony Shaun Estrada Jones, Robbie Hulett and Jared Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Wiggins, Brim Wiggins, Zeb Wiggins, James Chrisswell, Danny Chastain and Shane Chastain. Born March 7, 1958 in Moultrie he was the son of the late Dave Lang Gamble,II and Doris Martin Gamble. Mr. Gamble passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at his residence. He was married for two weeks before his death but had been with Sally Kaye Knight Gamble for 30 years who he always called Babydoll of Pelham who survives. He was a member of Freedom Worship Ministries and was a truck driver for Wiggins Trucking for more than 35 years. Survivors other than his wife include his three sons, Dave Lee Gamble (Stacy of Hazelhurst; Johnny Lee Gamble (Melissa) of Defuniak Springs, FL; and Andrew Curtis Bristol (Ashley) of Thomasville 13 grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Dixie Jenkins of Moultrie; Diana Chastain of Pelham; Dollie Grant ( Bert) of Pelham and Michael Martin (Pat) of Pelham, numerous nieces and nephews and his loyal dog, Precious.
