Clara Frances Fowler

Funeral services for Clara Frances Godwin Fowley, 93 of Pelham will be Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00AM at Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church where she was a member. David Cook will officiate and interment will be in Mizpah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roger Fowler, Randy Fowler, Jeff Godwin, Dewayne Humphries, Grant Williams, Bobby Godwin, Gene Willis,  Ladon George and Leon Davis. Born October 4, 1924 in Grady County she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mamie Coble Godwin. She was married to James R. Fowler who preceded her in death. Mrs. Fowler passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at her residence. She is survived by her daughter, LuQuita Fowler and Rev. Nathan Fowler both of Pelham; a granddaughter, Amber Hamilton of Valdosta and a grandson, Jared Fowler of Pelham. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Louie Godwin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon’s or Mizpah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Sonja Godwin. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 10:00-11:00AM.
