Charlotte Ann Faircloth Layton

Funeral services for Charlotte Layton, 63, of Baconton will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 2:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate and interment will be in Meigs Sunset Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Tra Faircloth, Jacob Faircloth, William Harrell, Brig Faircloth, Jamie Layton and Chris Layton. Born January 8, 1959 in Douglas she was the daughter of the late George William Faircloth, Sr. and Gwendolyn Rose Beard Faircloth. Mrs. Layton passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was a former teacher and was married for 42 years to Danny Layton of Baconton who survives. Other survivors include her children, Brian Layton (Jilynn) of Thomasville and Brittany Layton Rooks (Michael) of Leesburg; grandchildren, Harley and Gage Layton and Eli and Layton Rooks; two brothers, George Faircloth, Jr. (Penny) of Lakeland; and Joe Faircloth (Gena) of Baconton; two sisters, Sherry Gregory (Larry) of Wooodbine; and Tammy Harrell (Ken) of Baconton. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Jim Faircloth. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 1:00-2:00PM.
