Charles W. Voltz (Chuck)

Funeral services for Charles W. Voltz (Chuck), 86, of Pelham will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral  Home. Rev. Leroy Williams will officiate and interment will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born May 13, 1938 in Camden, AL he was the son of the later Jasper Wesley and Eula Guinn Voltz. Mr. Voltz passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Savannah Court. He worked for Bellsouth, AT and T and CWA Union, a member of the Pelham Civitan Club and member of Dawson Road Church of Christ in Albany and also was honorably discharged from the United States Airforce after four years from 1958-1962. He is survived a son, David Charles Voltz and Brandi of Bonaire, GA; son James Wesley Voltz and Elizabeth of Raleigh, NC; a son-in-law, Tommy Palmer of Pelham. Others survivors include grandchildren, Wesley and Kristy Palmer of Pelham, Beth Palmer of Pelham; Hayleigh Marks, two Great Grandchild Olivia Palmer and Noah Palmer of Pelham. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sue Voltz, a daughter, Debra Dian Palmer and siblings, Jim, Juanita and Sara. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Georgia Wildlife Federation 11600 Hazelbrand Road Covington, GA 30014 or the website at GWF.ORG. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00AM.
