Graveside services for Charles Russell Presley, Sr., 95, of Meigs will be
held on Thursday, February 18 at 11:00 AM at New Bethel Baptist Church
Cemetery. Rev. Mack Beck and Rev. Stacy West will officiate. Mr. Presley
passed away on February 15, 2016 at Camellia Gardens of Life. Born April
13, 1920 in Colquitt County to the late Amos B Presley & Fannie J
Presley, he was a veteran of World War II and a farmer. He is survived by
son, Charles R. Presley, Jr. (Evelyn) and daughter-in-law Kay Presley, all
of Meigs. Grandchildren, Russ Presley, TN, Jodi Scott (Sean Buxton),
Snellville, Victoria (Todd) Nix, Thomasville, Craig Presley, Meigs, Mary
Beth (Billy) Donalson, Cairo, Kathryn (Lee) Jones, Marietta & Jennifer
(Jody) Terry, Moultrie. 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great,
great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delphine White
Presley, children Carolyn, Timothy, Beth and Roger Presley, brothers
Claude, Louis, Joe, Edd & Lucious and sisters Ethel, Pearl and Ruby. The
family will receive friends on February 17, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM at
