Graveside funeral services for Charles Presley, Jr., 76, of Meigs will be held Sunday, September 10. 2023 at 2:30PM at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Stacy West will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tater West, Ed Autrey, Michael West, Chris White, Todd Presley, and Marcus West. Born May 8, 1947 in Moultrie he was the son of the late Charles Russell, Sr. and Delphine White Presley. Mr. Presley passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was a member of new Bethel Baptist Church and a retired farmer. He was married to Mary Evelyn West of Meigs for 27 years who survives. Other survivors include his children, Russ Presley and Craig Presley (Robin) and grandchildren, Lauren Presley Lawson (PJ) and children, Easton Presley and Davie Lawson and Hunter Presley (Rayani) and child Easton Jon Baughman and Dalton Presley; and brothers and sisters-in-laws, Roger West (Vivian), Gloria West, Jane Scites and Kay Presley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers and sisters, Carolyn, Timothy, Beth and Roger. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
