Charles L. (Bo) Godwin

Funeral services for Charles L. (Bo) Godwin, 70, of Pelham will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00AM at Union Grove Baptist Church where he was a member. The Rev. Doug Hall and Rev. Troy Pierson will officiate and interment will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Born October 10, 1947 in Camilla he was the son of the late Tommy and Sadie Faircloth Godwin. Mr. Godwin passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his residence. He was retired from finance and worked with Wal-Mart stores in Pelham and Camilla. He was married for 47 years to Diane Hunter Godwin who survives. Other survivors include his sister Lottie Beavers of Lake Anna, VA; a brother Roger Godwin (Sallie) of Lilburn; adopted sister, Laura Howard of Appleton, WI; loving mother-in-law, Nell Hunter of Pelham and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jean Pope and brother Lamar Godwin. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia or the Union Grove Building Fund.
