Catherine Scott Thornton

Graveside funeral services for Catherine Scott Thornton, 72, of Pelham will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10:00AM at Union Hill Cemetery. Rev. Brian Robertson will officiate. Born October 29, 1948 in Columbus she was the daughter of the late Morris Alexander and Iva Gertrude Scott, Sr. Mrs. Thornton passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at her residence. She was retired from Sears where she was a renovation coordinator. She was married for 43 years to Michael Thornton of Pelham who survives. Other survivors include her children, Kelley Johnson (Wayne); Scott Thornton (Paula); grandchildren, Darian, Marcel, Jayden, Andrew, and Skye and one great grandchild coming in September. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Monty Scott, a sister, Linda Dabney and a son Joey Moyer. Willis-Jamerson- Braswell Funeral Home, Pelham
