Funeral services for Catherine Norman Goodier, 82, of Pelham will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Newsome will officiate and interment will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Daniel Aldridge, Jr., Michael Sheffield, Thomas Rorie, Dakota Bryan, Benjamin Washington, and Travis Rorie. Born August 31,1942 in Sale City she was the daughter of the late Samuel Joel and Katie Mae Adkins Norman. Mrs. Goodier passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Phoebe Putney memorial Hospital. She was a retired CNA with The Florida State Hospital System. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Goodier. Other survivors include her spouse, Fernando Gomez of Pelham; son, Harold Dean Blackmon (Barbara Bryan) and a brother, Floyd Norman (Ola) both of Arcadia, FL; a brother-in-law, Roger Rorie of Pelham; sons, Fernando Lee Gomez, Hilario Mario Gomez, Carlos Jose Gomez and daughters, Freida Suzette Gomez, and Jessica Lynn Gomez all of Waycross, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Daniel Johnson, brother Sam Norman, sisters, Louise Boyett, Sweetie Caban and Juanita Rorie. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM
