Betty Stanaland

Funeral services for Betty Stanaland, 81. of Meigs will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3:00PM at Providence Church. Eric Tinsley will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Tinsley, Alan Taylor, Waylon Griner, Steve cain, Robby Griner, Mike Griner and Jeff Hunter. Born January 5, 1941 in Thomas County she was the daughter of the late Vonnie John and Verde Belle Tinsley. Mrs.Stanaland passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.She was retired from the State of Georgia with Greenoak Center. She was married to Bobby Stanaland of Meigs who survives. Other survivors include her children, Chester Stanaland (Melinda), Lachelle Gay (Bart), Shelby Stanaland and the late Angie Stanaland and Miriam Hunter (Jeff), Grandchildren, Ashley Gay, Danielle Stanaland, Katie Stanaland,  Trey Stanaland, Harden Hunter, Cheyenne Stanaland, Meghan Hunter, great grandchildren, Mattie Rae Spillers, Tinsley Wood and Willow Wood and a sister, Jean Griner. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law, and brothers and sisters, Dean key, Buck Tinsley, Catherine Harrison, Bobby Tinsley, Geraldine Taylor and Winfred Tinsley.
