Funeral services for Bessie Peterson Pearson, 87, of Camilla will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 3:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Rev. Troy Pearson will officiate and interment will be in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Dodson, TJ Pearson, Derrick Hendley, Steve Sellers, Kevin Sellers and Ryan Smith. Born Dec. 6, 1934 in Early County she was the daughter of the late Collie Lester and Ruby Lucinda Parker Peterson. She was married for 45 years to Carson L Pearson who preceded her in death. Mrs. Pearson passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her residence. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired seamstress with Wilgrees in Camilla. Survivors include her children, JoAnn Dodson of Americus; David Pearson of Macon; Troy Pearson of Camilla and Debbie (Cindy) Allen of Camilla; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Patricia Langley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Charlie B. Pearson, a son-in-law, William Dodson, a brother, Ernest Peterson and sister, Frances Holland .
