Bernice Wisham

Funeral services for Bernice Wisham, 88, of Camilla will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 3:00PM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Albritton will officiate and interment will be in Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Johnson, Daniel Newberry, Dusty Clark, Nelson Aldridge, Danny Carr and Jason Wisham. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Wisham, Mark Oliver, Eric Taylor and Keith Cowart. Born January 23, 1931 in Branchville she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Preston and Lydia Mae Johnson Taylor. Mrs. Wisham passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was married for 64 years to John Edgar Wisham, Jr. who preceded her in death. She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Rodney Wisham of Camilla; Kathy Wisham Sheckells of Marianna, FL; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Dorothy Palmer and son, Robert Wisham.
