Bernice Irene Mobley

   Funeral services for Bernice Tilley Mobley, 97, of Pelham will be held Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 3:00PM at Macedonia Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Marvin Snipes will officiate, and interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Clark, Caleb Clark, Flynt Hester, Julian Mosley, Kelly Mosley, Beau Clark and Bridger Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Merrill Palmer, Donald Palmer, Ronald Palmer, Gene Hurst, Elton Hurst, Ken Gilliard, Kermit Gilliard and Wayne Gilliard. Born May 24, 1921 in Pelham she was the daughter of the late Robert Elmore and Elsie Deborah Hatcher Tilley. Mrs. Mobley passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was married to David Hansell Mobley (Dave) who preceded her in death. She retired from Coats and Clark and was instrumental in the family farming operation. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deborah "Debby" Mobley of Pelham; granddaughters, Michele Mobley of Lawrenceville; Alisa Clark of Suwanee; Jade Mosley of Pelham; Julian Mosley of Crawfordville, Fl; grandson, Kelly and Jennifer Bendewish Mosley of Tallahassee; great grandchildren, Jordan and Jackson Mobley, Carly, Brandon, Caleb, and Bridger Clark, Mackenzie, Kadence, Bree and Carson Mosley, Chenelle, Madalyn and Jossalyn Mosley; Kelian and Flynt Hester. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Son, Charles Terry Mobley; sisters, Thelma Tilley Gilliard, Gladys Tilley Sadler, Doris Tilley, Essie Tilley Hancock, and a brother, Stanley Tilley. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 2:00-3:00PM.
