Barbara Jean Brumbley

Memorial services for Barbara Jean Brumbley, 72, of Meigs, will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 3:00PM at Northwoods Church of God, 640 Hall Road, Thomasville, GA.  Rev. Josh Tommey will officiate.  Mrs. Brumbley passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla.  Born March 23, 1951 she was the daughter of the late John B. and Ruby Lee Hunt Morey.  She worked as a clerk for Aiden's Market in Meigs.  She is survived by her son Samual Brumbley (Nora) of Valdosta; daughters, Leslie Lewis of Meigs and Hannah Brumbley of Cairo; grandchildren, Andrew Gonzalez (Candace), Matthew Gonzalez (Ixel) and Kristen Hill; great grandchildren, Matthew Fabian Gonzalez, Jr., Jayda Isabel Gonzalez, Christopher Nicholas Gonzalez, Andrew Isaiah Maximus Gonzalez, Vanessa Andria Gonzalez, Issac Elijah Gonzalez, Dylan Colton Palmer, Atreyus Kendayll Hill, Grayson Miles Morey and Jesse Evans Hill.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Brumbley, and her parents.
