Aubrey Collins

Aubrey Herschel Collins Jr., 81, of Pelham passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Grady General Hospital.  A graveside service for family and close friends will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Springhill Christian Church Cemetery. The church is located at 7186 Maddox Road, Ochlocknee, Ga 31773.  Born May 19, 1939, he was the son of the late Aubrey Herschel Collins Sr and Sallie Kate Collins. He was retired from the US Army and the Department of Defense and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Cairo. He was married to Lenora Carreen Bulloch Collins who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons; Herschel Collins (Lisa) and Lonnie Collins (Marcelle), and a daughter, Eugenia Collins; grandchildren Aubrey Collins IV, Ashley Reeves (Elijah), Harrison Collins, Matthew Collins; great grandson Theodor Reeves and a daughter-in-law, Louise Collins; Brothers and sisters, Tony, Leland and Lelia Ann and a brother-in-law, R.L. Brannon. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter MaryAnn Collins and a brother, Dellwood Collins.
