Anna Ruth Bryant Peacock

Funeral services for Anna Ruth Bryant Peacock, 95, of Meigs will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:00AM at Zion Grove Assembly of God. Rev. Tony Morris, Kurt McCollough will officiate and interment will be at New Bethel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Stewart, Nathan Ireland, Aaron Ireland, Craig Ireland, Stan Wright and Dawson Wright and Honorary will be Terrell Stewart. Born July 24, 1929 in Ohio she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Gladys Faulkner Seawright. Mrs. Peacock passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. She was married to M.H. Bryant who preceded her in death and Wayne Peacock of Meigs who survives. She was a homemaker and member of Zion Grove Assembly of God and was a minister for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Bernice Mae (Mazie) Ireland of Meigs: grandchildren, Terrell Stewart of Meigs; Nathan Ireland of Thomasville; Craig Ireland of Jacksonville;  Aaron Ireland (Heather); Josh Stewart (Amber); great grandchildren, Taylor Mathis Ireland; Madison Stewart, Turner Stewart all of Meigs; a brother, Eldon Seawright and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, a daughter and son-in-law Loretta and Terry Stewart and a daughters, Barbara Bryant and Marilyn Bryant.
