Ann Jones McMillon Sherman

Ann Jones McMillon Sherman, 77, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at her daughter's residence in Meigs. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00AM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeff Brooks and Pastor Mike Nichols will officiate with interment to follow at Springhill Christian Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brandon Godwin, Jamie Davis, Clint Brooks, VJ Dowdy, Reggie Rogers and Robert Lewis.  Born September 22,1946 in Meigs, she was the daughter of the late Henry Greene and Lucile Hurst Jones.  She was a member of North Point Christian Church in Tallahassee, FL.  She is survived by her husband of six years, Walter Henry Sherman, her children, Penny Snipes (Ricky) of Meigs, Curtis McMillon (Yvonne) of Ochlocknee, and Lisa Ann Godwin of Pelham, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, one sister, Mary Willis of Pelham, and her sister-in-law, Pam Jones of Bossier City, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Howard Preston McMillon, four sisters and two brothers.  The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00PM at Willis Jamerson Braswell Funeral Home.
