Alan Michael Lester

Funeral services for Alan Michael Lester, 37, of Valdosta will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 3:00PM at Redland Church of Christ 4257 Rocky Ford Road Valdosta. The Rev. Stoney Gaskins will officiate and interment will be in the church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Redding, Delon Moore, Donnie Lewis, Christopher Musselwhite, Kenny Meeks and Kyle Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Jenkins, Merrill Miller and Eric Locher. Born November 27, 1983 in Valdosta he was the son of Terry Lester and Dawn Miller (Joey) who survives. Mr. Lester passed away December 29, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was married to Heather Marie Bennett Lester who survives.  Other survivors include two daughters, Shlay Marie Lester and Kinley Madison Lester; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Beth Ann Bennett (MA and Pa); sister, Brooke Moore (Jason Redding); brother, Delon Moore; sister-in-law, Ashley Smith (Justin Smith); brother-in-law, Christopher Bennett (Madison Barrett); nephews, Hunter Eakin, Bryce Eakin, Tanner Smith, and Trent Redding; nieces, Avah Smith, Taylor Smith and Ansley Redding and a grandmother, Sue Lockwood (Billy Lockwood); and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lavon Musselwhite, and great grandparents, Marie Strobo and Carolynn Bellew.
